QuERI-International
Global Economic Databases
History & Forecasts - Project Consulting
QuERI data covers a wide range of products and subjects. It is one of the most complete sources of regularly updated and forecasted
data on global industry and trade. New data is included as it becomes available and forecasts are based on quarterly updates
of macroeconomic information form the Economist Intelligence Unit analysts.
Primary databases are based on a combination
of UNIDO and UN SNA data for gross output by industry groups. ISIC Revision 3 data is filled in and concorded to ISIC Revision
2 allowing a long time series from 1990 through 2009 for historical data and from 2010 through 2018 for the forecast interval.
Additional years of forecasts can be prepared by special requests.
QuERI will develop forecasts based on alternative
macroeconomic assumptions if required allowing companies to customize detailed data forecasts.
Commodity Datasets offer
the broadest and most complete picture of market demand, production, and international trade in a single set of tables. Alternatively
each element in the combined datasets can be purchased independently.
Special price quotes can be developed for companies
wishing to mix and match data, for example, high technology firms often use employment demand as a proxy for market size and strength,
but may wish to add additional information on production and market demand for their products in value terms.
Finally
using input-output models in conjunction with production data buyer-seller relationships can be constructed. Detailed commodities
can also be aggregated into company determined product groups before delivery.
